April Giveaway- First Choice Boxers for Dad!

Here's a fun giveaway for this month.  Father's Day is coming up in June.  If you win this giveaway, you will receive your winning in early May, which gives you about a month to make Dad a fun Father's Day gift.

The winner will receive the First Choice Boxers pattern (adult sizes small to XXL) as well as your choice of conversation fabric to make a pair.  Heck- I think I'll even throw in the elastic for the waist band!  You can see a closer image and description of the fabrics in the "Conversation Prints" category on my website.

To enter, you just have to comment to THIS POST and ask to be entered.  That's all there is to it!

If you want a second entry, if you are a follower of this blog (new or long time reader) do a SECOND comment to THIS POST and tell me that you are a follower.  It's important that you do a second comment because I count the total number of entries by counting the comments.

If you have a blog of your own, you can get a third entry by mentioning my giveaway on your blog and making an additional comment on this post.  You can do a blog post or put it on your sidebar- whatever you like.

The winner will be announced on May 1st.

Just to be clear- you get the pattern and ONE of the fabric options.  You have to make the boxers yourself. :-)

As a general rule, if you comment on any of my blog posts, I try to reply to you in a private message.  But for general giveaway entries, I don't. If you see your comment at the end of this post- you're entered!  If you are a "no-reply" blogger, I won't ever be able to reply, which can be a real problem if you win!  Speaking of no-reply bloggers, I'll be doing a post on how to tell if you are... so stay tuned.

Good luck with the giveaway.  This is a fun one!

Weekend Wonders Giveaway Winner- Congrats to Linda!

The winner of the Weekend Wonders book is lucky number 38.... Linda!  And that's no April fool joke, Linda!  Linda's blog, Stray Stitches, has been on my reading list for quite some time.  Her blog is a good read with lots of good information.  Did you know that today is National Tatting Day?  Who knew?

I've always wanted to learn how to tat.  My grandmother made many beautiful pieces- many of which I now own.  The problem is- I don't know what to do with them.  I never learned because I never had the desire to have the finished product.  My grandmother used to make edging for pillow cases and sometimes bookmarks... but I digress.

Back to the reason for this post- CONGRATS to Linda!  And thanks to all who entered.  And a great big "Welcome" to all of the new followers this month.  It's great to have you reading along!

I'm going on another quilt retreat this weekend (lucky me!).  I'll be posting pictures when I get back.  And I'll put up a new giveaway for April next week.  Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
